How do I change my NameServers?

Your Name Servers can only be changed at the registrar or domain registration provider where you registered your domain.  Most registrars/providers will have an online domain manager where you would login and make the changes yourself, although there are some where you will need to contact them to make the changes for you.  You should change your nameservers to point to ns1.cofc-solutions.net & ns2.cofc-solutions.net.  It will take between 12 to 72 hours for the changes to propagate throughout the Internet.



What is the control panel?

cPanel is a fully featured web-based control panel that allows you to manage your domain through a web interface. The idea is to transfer as much of the control and responsibility of managing your web site to you. You have the ability to manage all aspects of e-mail, files, backup, FTP, CGI scripts, and web site statistics.



Can I transfer my current domain name to you?

Yes.  You may transfer domain names to us at any time.  We do not do DNS ONLY hosting unless you are a current hosting client.



How does the billing system work?

All hosting accounts are set up on a recurring billing basis with a PayPal subscription.  You do not need to be a member of PayPal to use your credit card with them.

PayPal will automatically debit your account every month on the same day as your first payment for each site.

NOTE: Your PayPal and/or Credit Card statements will show a transaction with one of the following:

  • C of C Solutions™
  • PAYPAL*COFCSOLN
  • PAYPAL*COFC SOLUTIONS


After you have ordered your hosting, you will receive an email telling you where to do such things as transfer your domain (if you wish), or order your own SSL certificate.  All pricing is in $USD.



Do you provide support?

Yes.  To have questions answered please use the Help Center.  We take care of all server related problems.  If you need help with 3rd party scripts, an extra fee may apply.



Do you have a detailed online support manual?

Yes.  cPanel's Help Manual is designed to help you find the information you require as quickly as possible.  If you are unsure how to do something or you have a problem, you may use the "Contents" - "Key Word Index" - or "Search" function.



Do you provide a shopping cart?

Yes, we have AgoraCart and OsCommerce.  Both are easily installed via the control panel.



Do you support sub-domains?

Yes.  You can add sub-domains in the form of http://sub.mydomain.com  You may add unlimited sub-domains to your primary site and 10 to each secondary site.



What statistical package do you use?

We provide both Webalizer and AwStats
